This study was conducted in Tikrit and kirkuk Governorantes on 88 patients with renal diseases [acute renal failure (ARF), chronic renal failure (CRF)] with ages ranging from (22 - 75) years for both sexes, compared with 55 healthy persons (20-80 years) as a control.
The study showed a significant increase in the LDH activity in sera and urine of patients with acute renal failure (ARF)(P < 0.05) compared with chronic renal failure (CRF)in which no change was appeared. A Significant decrease in total serum protein of patients with CRF, ARF while urinary protein showed a significant increase. A significant increase also shown in Blood urea (Bu), serum creatinine (Cr) of ARF, CRF, in comparison with creatinine clearance (Ccr) which was significantly decreased.
